130 year old cottage in Nuwara Eliya burns down

According to Nuwara Eliya Municipal Council’s fire brigade the fire spread the
cottage at a rapid pace as most rooms were built by wood.
The cottage has been the official residence of the government agent during
1800’s.
Nuwara Eliya police is presently conducting investigation.
