Gas prices to remain same until elections are over

Gas prices will remain unchanged for the next two months, Minister Bandula Gunawardena said.

The two companies - Shell gas and Laugfs gas had requested for an increase of the prices, but the government instead has removed the tax enabling them to maintain the current prices. 

A review of the prices is due to be made after the elections.
