Man performing witchcraft during trial against Ex-MP arrested

A man suspecting to be performing witchcraft inside a court room where a murder case against a former member of parliament was being heard was arrested this morning.

Gota states, Kumaran Pathmanathan is custody the control of Criminal Investigation Unit.

According to information it is informed that Kumaran Pathmanathan who was arrested by the government, is not under the control of military but he is in the custody of Criminal Investigation unit. While Gottabaya gave an interview to a local English media, he made this statement.

Chandrika’s Security Head Jailed

The judge ordered that Karunaratne be jailed for a further one year in the event of his failure to pay the fine.

Monies taken from soldiers who had left their commissions not paid back

Relatives of Army soldiers who had deserted the force and returned during the amnesty period in order to retire from the Army had not been paid any of the dues that had had been taken from their monthly pays during their service period.
