Sri Lanka to fight Bangladesh for T20 gold

Sri Lanka is facing the surprising winner of the semi final round, Bangladesh for the gold in the T20 cricket competition of the 11th South Asian Games.

 

 

Expectedly, Sri Lanka entered into the finals beating Maldives by 147 runs. However, the gold medal favorites Pakistan lost to Bangladesh by 52 runs opening the way for the hosts to enter the finals.

 

Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh in the preliminary round.

 

The final match a day-night game will be played on Sunday starting at 5:30 pm at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.

 

The live coverage of the match will be complemented with a DJ and performance of a top solo artist before the start of the game.
